This and that

In China, man living alone surrounded with his own excrement in wine bottles gets free sponge bath and maid service.

Man bottles up his problems

A MAN who collected his urine and bowel movements in thousands of wine bottles at his home found himself buried underneath them in a household accident.

Neighbors heard his cries for help and called the police and fire brigade. A "very brave" fireman carried the man out of the house where he had been maintaining this bizarre habit for two years, Oriental Morning Post reported yesterday.

Members of the neighborhood committee spent two days cleaning his house and giving him a bath. Wang said after that he felt more comfortable.

Wang apparently has no mental illness but he was thin and weak and could only sit on a wheelchair after being taken out of the house.

Doctors said excessive drinking had damaged many organs in his body. The neighborhood committee said it will hire an ayi to take care of him and hopes he can stop drinking.
In Singapore, he will be remanded in IMH indefinitively at the President's pleasure following complaints from neighbours about the stench.
