Older and wiser?

For my 32nd birthday yesterday, my loved ones gave to me:

1. Lavendar soap and slippers from the Shangri-la Beijing.

2. A bag of roasted duck. With plum sauce.

3. A tourist map of China.

4. An extended deadline for a project.

5. A bittersweet dream about someone very special.

Oh well. Who needs cakes with all the calories? And what will I do with a new car in Shanghai anyway?
