For those of you coming back to our fair shores this month, here's the madness that you've just you missed.
- GST went up 7% w.e.f 1 Jul 2007. Haven't stopped us from spending.
- We now have another 11,660 millionaires since 2006. So that makes 3 out of every 200 living here in Singapore who have more than US$1,000,000 in the bank. Explains the rising prices of bread.
- 20yo guy given 3 extra strokes of the cane "by mistake". Government regrets error but denies compensation for mental anguish.
- Bars go smoke-free. I still leave Tantric feeling like a dirty dirty boy.
